Interesting tweaks to up the backup speed:
1. Set Receive Side Scaling Queues from default value of 1 to 8 queues
2. Disabled auto tuning: netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable
3. Updated Intel Quad NICs with latest drivers / PROset software
4. Turned off file and print sharing on the NIC connection
