OnCommand Workflow Automation 2.2RC1 - Quick Install Guide

Requirements*

O/S: (Only 64-bit) Windows 7 SP1; Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2, 2008 SP2, 2008 R2, 2008 R2 SP1, 2012
Specs: Dual core x64 processor, 4 GB RAM, 20 GB free disk space
Software: Latest Adobe Flash Player, PowerShell 2.0, .NET Framework 3.5 (and VMware Power CLI version 5 if integrated with vSphere)
Browser: IE 8, 9 or 10; Chrome 26, 30 or 31; Firefox 20, 24 or 25

Note 1: The WFA server should be a dedicated system with no other applications.
Note 2: “You must install WFA using the default administrator account” IaSG p13

Port Requirements: Connections to WFA Server (IN)

HTTP port 80 / HTTPS port 443:  Opening WFA and logging in
MySQL port 3306: Caching read-only user

Port Requirements: Connections from WFA Server (OUT)

HTTP port 80 / HTTPS port 443 / SSH port 22: Command execution (ZAPI, PowerCLI)
LDAP ports 445, 139: Microsoft-DS, NetBIOS-ssn - MS AD LDAP Authentication
SNMP port 161: SNMP alerts (to port 162 on SNMP Server)
SMTP port 25: Mail notification
HTTP port 80 / HTTPS port 443 / SMTP port 25: Sending ASUP
Syslog port 514

Port Requirements: Incoming to OCUM 6

MySQL port 3306: Caching Data from OCUM 6+

Installation

Download the software package from:

Double-click the downloaded WFA-x64-V2.2.0.2.4RC1-B2298704.exe

Setup - WFA: Welcome to the WFA Setup Wizard
Click Next >

Setup - WFA: License Agreement
Accept the agreement
Click Next >

Setup - WFA: Server Configuration
Override the default server configuration or leave as default (HTTP Port 80 and HTTPS Port 443)
Click Next >

Setup - WFA: Checking Prerequisites
Click Next >

Setup - WFA: Customer Information
Enter ‘Site Name’
Enter ‘Company Name’
Click Next >

Setup - WFA: Administrator User
Create a user by providing -
Username: admin (default)
Password: *********
Click Next >

Setup - WFA: Select Destination Location
Leave as or change the default (C:\Program Files\NetApp\WFA)
Click Next >

Setup - WFA: Ready to Install
Click Install
