In this post we explore the OnCommand Insight 7.3 Data Warehouse’s IBM Cognos Report Studio. Report Studio is a very powerful product, this post is only going to touch the surface.

IBM Cognos Report Studio

Access Report Studio via the Launch drop down in IBM Cognos Connection.

Report Studio: Select a package

Commonly ‘Inventory’ is selected.

Open Existing

New from Template

In this instance I click on ‘Create New’ which gives the following options:

Blank, List, Crosstab, Chart, Map, Financial, Repeater Table, Blank Active Report, Report Template, From Template
