ONTAP Version in this scenario = ONTAP 9.8
Problem: We had a vol move that was stuck. It was a 5TB or so volume. It was 98% transferred. And it had been stuck on "Volume Move Job Locking Down Volumes For Final Transfer" for a couple of hours. There was no workload running on the source node so definitely not a performance issue, but perhaps snapmirrors had got in a muddle ... not sure.
Solution: Reboot (do a takeover*/giveback) of the affected node (source of the vol move.) Nothing else worked (like trying to force/abort the vol move.) And once the rebooted node was back up again, the vol move had finished already 😊
