Time of writing: 15.04.2025
Randomly (for reasons I won't divulge) I'm posting all the links to the download packages I need to upgrade some StorageGRID Appliances (SGAs - all SG6060) from 11.7.0.8 to 11.9.0.5. They were deployed early 2024 and haven't had any upgrade since.
With StorageGRID upgrades, the general rule of thumb is:
- Hotfix your current version to the latest hotfix
- Upgrade to the next release with latest hotfix (upgrade and hotfix at the same time)
- [SGA] Upgrade SANtricity (best done via Grid Manager)
- [SGA] Upgrade E-Series disk firmware (done in SANtricity System Manager)
1) Hotfix 11.7.0.14
2) StorageGRID 11.8
From "Upgrade StorageGRID" (middle section):
3) Hotfix 11.8.0.12
4) StorageGRID 11.9.0
From "Upgrade StorageGRID" (middle section):
6) SANtricity*
*under "StorageGRID Appliance" section in downloads (only use this section)
"In order to upgrade to 11.80GA or later, users must first upgrade to 11.70.5P1 or 11.70.5R1. 11.70.5R1 is the latest available and is also available on this page."
When checked @ 15.04.2025 there was nothing newer than 11.70.5P1/R1 -
